"The Adventures of Tess" is a new magical children's book series for ages 2-6. Each book will address a specific issue your child may be having.
Tess is a stuffed toy Chihuahua given to Jonah as a gift, but when alone with Jonah and other children, she comes to life as an iconic Super Hero who rescues Jonah from everday situations that cause him stress and anxiety. Every night, when Jonah's mind is racing and he has trouble falling asleep, "Super Tess" swoops in and whispers a story that calms his mind and eventually gets him to fall asleep with a smile.
"The New Sister" helps children prepare emotionally for a new sibling. A first child receives your undivided attention and love. Once a new child becomes a part of your family, your older child may have a hard time adjusting. This book takes children on an adventure! It explores the changes in a positive way, helping children to feel confident and excited about their new sibling.
"Swim Class" will address your child's fear of swimming and interacting with the water. It wil also help build your child's confidence in learning to swim which is a must.
A little about the author... Pamela Grunstein lives in Hastings on Hudson, NY with her husband, Neil, and her son, Jonah. She was inspired to start these adventures with Tess after her son Jonah was born. She realized that children today deal with many difficult situations that are hard for them to understand. She decided to write a series of books that are relatable to kids that deliver positive messages in a fun way.
A little about Tess... Tess was a real apple head tan and black Chihuahua who lived with Pamela in New York City. Everytime Tess went for a walk on the streets, heads would turn; not only from adults, but from every child who saw her. She will be forever in our hearts.
